the october full moon festival coincided with the days i was in Bagan and the celebrating went on well into the night. the temples were lit up with candles and it made the setting even more dramatic.there were parades and processions and candles and fancy umbrellas. fireworks and food and lighting of ballons. special offerings for the monks and big crowds at all the temples. it was a great time and i will be sad to leave.
